Don Bosco Hall

Our mission is to provide supportive human services to enhance the quality of life for youth, and their families residing in the Metropolitan Detroit-Wayne County Community. Don Bosco Hall has been serving the community for 63 years. It has provided comprehensive multi-disciplinary services to youth ages 11 to 22 for more than 20 years. Specifically providing, residential treatment centers for adolescent boys, Supervised Independent Living, Youth Assistance Prevention, Male Leadership Academy and Community Resource Center. Moreover, DBH provided employment services as a Year Round Employment service provider for more than seven years. These services provided workshops, job preparation training, career exploration, job search and supervisory exposure.

Don Bosco Hall is a human service organization that provides specialized services to at-risk children, youth and families. The agency’s various programs are provided within three service divisions: Community Outreach/Prevention Services, Intensive Treatment and Transitional Services. Within the community outreach/prevention services the organization provides preventive services to children and youth through community counseling, tutoring, recreation and cultural arts services and community-based after school support services based upon youth development principles. Within the intensive treatment division, the agency operates three residential treatment facilities for adolescent males. Within the agency’s transitional services division, the organization’s Supervised Independent Living program provides support services to older teenagers who need assistance as they prepare for independence. The agency’s transitional living services provide unique and innovative approaches to assist young people with housing, employment skills, job placement and financial management. Don Bosco Hall also provides mentoring and residential support services to at-risk youth.
