OLHSA supports individuals and families in Oakland and Livingston counties by connecting them with resources to improve their quality of life and promote self-sufficiency. Services are based on funding and local availability.
Our programs focus on five key areas:
- Economic Security – Employment support, financial wellness, asset building, MI Bridges benefits assistance, and older adult programs.
- Education – Early education services, financial literacy programs, community resources, and WIC nutrition support.
- Emergency Assistance – Emergency housing, utility assistance, COVID resources, homelessness services, and water assistance.
- Housing Support – Homebuyer and rental education, foreclosure and property tax counseling, veterans housing support, weatherization, and home repair services.
- Health and Nutrition – Food and nutrition programs, health services, HIV services, and WIC support.
