As the name suggests, most of County Farm Park was once agricultural land. The area that was not farmed is Britton Woods – 18 acres of lovely upland and floodplain forest. Help us improve the woodland by removing invasive shrubs such as buckthorn and honeysuckle.
Meet at the Medford Pavilion (west entrance off of Medford Road, not the main entrance on Platt Road). Please be prepared for working off-trail. This workday led by Stewardship Coordinator, Katie Carlisle. Snacks, gloves and water provided.
