We need help welcoming our guests and friends who come to the church during the week to do their laundry, take showers, pick up clothes or food, and/or just hang out somewhere with Wi-Fi and climate control. Your main responsibility will be to be present in the space and support our Homelessness Ministry Coordinator Rose in opening the door for people and helping those who want to use the services find what they need!
Also need help doing laundry during the warming center while here during December and March.
The role is relatively flexible. You are likely to be able to read or work quietly on the Wi-Fi much of the time. However, we are also always looking for help sorting donations and cleaning-up the areas where they are kept.
