Volunteers needed for the biggest and best community event for young children! Touch-a-Truck takes place on Saturday, May 12, from 9-noon at Ypsilanti Community High School, 2095 Packard, Ypsilanti. We expect around 3,000-4,000 people to attend this free (and fun!) event that lets young kids explore their favorite trucks (school buses, tractors, moving trucks, etc.) while their parents get important information on community resources for families.
We specifically need volunteers:
- From 7:30-9:00 a.m. to help set up a couple dozen pop-up canopies, folding tables and chairs.
- From 9:00-noon to welcome families to the event
- From noon-1:00 p.m. to take down and stack tables, chairs, and canopies
