Founded over 50 years ago by Delores Bennett, the Adopt-a-Child Christmas Program collects gifts and warm clothing for children in need, ages 0 - 12 years. Volunteers are essential to the success of this annual holiday program, which will match over 1,000 families with gifts. Individuals and Groups are needed to serve as Greeters, Gift Ambassadors and Crowd Management Hosts.
A Volunteer Training will take place at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 30th at COBO Center - 1 Washington Blvd. Detroit, MI. The event will take place at COBO on Friday, December 1st from 3:30 - 8:00 PM.
