Saturday Depot Town Market Day: 11:00am-1:30pm

Expired

Description

Growing Hope is looking for reliable volunteers to help operate the Depot Town farmers market on Saturdays this season!

Market volunteers will be stationed throughout the market to help count customers, direct traffic, and answer customer questions. This is a laid-back opportunity perfect for folks that just need to get out of the house for a couple of hours. At the end of the market, volunteers will help market staff take down tents and tables and load the market trailer. Must be willing to lift and carry heavy items. Volunteers may also be asked to assist with customer surveys or light weeding and landscaping tasks.

Reliable volunteers are essential to the success of the Ypsilanti Farmers Markets. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us!

Please note that we will be working outside in all weather unless there is a thunderstorm. Please wear clothes that can get dirty, including closed toes shoes (no flip flops or open-toe shoes are allowed on-site). We recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack.
