Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels: 20th Anniversary Holiday Home Tour Fundraiser
We need many volunteers for this multi-site fundraiser which is our largest and most amazing fundraiser of the year that brings together the community for a common cause: Keeping Seniors in their home & providing meals!
When is the Event? Saturday, December 3rd
Where is the Event? Homes in Ypsilanti (downtown and the historic neighborhoods)
Shift times TBD: but between 10am - 11 pm (ranging from 3-6 hour shifts); great for GROUPS
How can I help? We need volunteers to help before, during and after the event at the homes, YMOW's office and around town
What are the roles and functions I can help with?
- Volunteer at the homes to greet guests and to share details about the Home and the Holiday decor (script provided)
- Volunteer to help setup the food stations
- Volunteers needed to make food pickups from local area businesses and restaurants
- Volunteers who can help at the dessert afterglow reception to greet guests, pour wine/brews, take coats & show off the Mansion
- Volunteers who like to take photos or videos
- Volunteers are all about Social media and want to post during the event
- Volunteers who are a jack of all trade who can be swing volunteers
- Volunteers for setup & takedown
- Volunteers who can passout posters to local businesses to promote the event
- Volunteers who want to help on the committee
