First Step is looking for one kind and caring volunteers per shift to provide the nurturing for our Residential Support Group.
This allows our clients to attend groups and receive services apart from their children and allows them to focus on themselves and find a path towards healing.
This opportunity is only available for volunteers who have completed our First Step Core training and passed our background and Department of Health and Human Services background checks.
What you can expect:
- A small number of children,
- No bathroom or diaper duties,
- Engaging children through play or arts/crafts activities.
- Parents do not leave the property and are nearby for when they are needed.
