United Way for Southeastern Michigan is recruiting volunteers to participate in several career days hosted at local high schools. Career days expose students to a variety of available career pathways and display the education, skills, credentials and prior experience required to be successful in the field.
Twenty representatives are needed to volunteers at West Side Academy of Information Technology and Cyber Security (4701 McKinley, Detroit) in the areas of information technology and cyber security. Organizations can send 2-3 volunteers per field or a variety of all fields. Volunteers from each organization will have a table set up in the gym, where students will walk from table to table to learn more about each career.
