Do you like helping kids have fun? Are you dying to get out in the summer warmth? Do you have fond memories of carnival fun? Is your family looking to volunteer?
Come help out at HAVEN's Summer Bash!!
On June 26th, HAVEN clients and their children (around 100 people altogether) will descend on HAVEN's Summer Bash, our annual carnival event for our clients.
Fun will abound, with a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, carnival games, food, Kona Ice, and more!
Volunteers are needed to run carnival games, supervise the inflatables, pass out food, and more.
Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age. Volunteers age 13-17 must have a signed parent waiver and be accompanied by a responsible adult (age 21+). This is a great opportunity for teenagers who have just finished school, and families looking to give back. Volunteers will also be provided with food and water. This is going to be a great time!
Volunteers need to arrive at 2:00 PM. Training will take place from 2 to 3, the Summer Bash runs 3 to 7, and clean up will take place 7 to 8.
