Holmes Schoolyard Rain Garden Digging Day | meet in the playground behind the school
We’ll be working the students and their parents to dig out a rain garden in the schoolyard. Students have been learning about the water cycle, stormwater and how rain gardens can help clean up water. Help build this rain garden that can be used as a teaching tool for years to come. I will have gloves, water, wheelbarrows and other tools but it wouldn’t hurt if you brought your shovel!
