Description

King Schoolyard Rain Garden Digging Day | meet between the parking lot and the Learning Garden

We’ll be working the students and their parents to dig out a rain garden in the schoolyard. The 5th graders have been learning about stormwater, the water cycle and how rain gardens can help clean up water. Help expand an existing rain garden so it can continue to be a teaching tool for years to come! I will have gloves, water, wheelbarrows and other tools but it wouldn’t hurt if you brought your shovel! Feel free to sign up by emailing wytychakc@ewashtenaw.org or by filling out the sign up genius form here: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0F4FABA62BA3F94-king
