Volunteer Tax Site Greeters are needed at Wayne Metro Community Action Agency for the 2018 tax season. As a volunteer, you'll be helping families stay in their homes, put food on the table and save for the future.
Training Requirements:
- Must complete the Volunteer Standard of Conduct exam and Disability Sensitivity Training
Tax Greeter Role and Responsibilities:
- Greet all taxpayers visiting the site to create a pleasant atmosphere
- Manage waiting and entry area to maintain the flow of taxpayers according to site operational procedures
- Refer taxpayers to Tax Preparers or Site Coordinators for tax questions
Volunteer shifts are available between 10am and 4pm on Saturday and 10am and 6pm on Tuesday. Volunteers need only sign up for the day in which they are available, and will work with the tax site coordinator after registering to determine the time of their volunteer shift.
