Furstenberg Nature Area
1 to 4 p.m.
Furstenberg Nature Area was acquired by the city in 1971 in order to preserve and protect the Huron River valley. Extensive work has been done to restore the healthy oak-savanna here. Help us pull invasive plants in order to continue to preserve and protect the habitat in this riverside park. Meet in the parking lot off of Fuller Road. Please wear long plants and closed-toe shoes. All participants must complete a release form, and all minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools, snacks, and know-how provided.
