Volunteers will perform one or more of the following general farm chores:
- Spring cleanup
- Drip irrigation installation
- Plastic mulch installation assistance
- Weeding
- Planting
- Harvest container cleaning
- Field cleanup
- Rock removal
*Volunteers who are 12-17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult chaperone*
MANDATORY DRESS CODE
Must wear long pants & closed toe shoes (preferably work boots), long pants, a hat, and a lightweight cotton long sleeve shirt to protect your arms.
- NO open toe shoes
- NO shorts.
- NO tank tops
- NO jewelry.
You will be working in a field, so, if available, please bring bug repellent and sunscreen.
If you are allergic to anything you may come into contact with at the farm (bees, for example) and require the use of an Epi-Pen, bring your Epi-Pen with you and inform farm staff of your needs.
