MADD Speaker’s Bureau Volunteers communicate MADD’s message by delivering presentations to the community. There are two primary goals for this program. The first is to educate the community on MADD’s top priorities: supporting victims of this violent crime, preventing underage and, stopping drunk driving. The second is to mobilize community support for the Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving.
Skills/Training Requirements: completion of MADD orientation and training, ability to communicate effectively, reliable transportation and experience in public speaking is a must for this role.
Time Commitment: 2 - 4 hours per week; one year commitment.
This opportunity will take place out in the community near your home and location will be determined with you after you register. Volunteer orientation will take place at the MADD offices (address listed below).
