Do you know how to build basic carpentry projects? We are looking for someone to help us with some exciting carpentry projects at the Growing Hope urban farm. We are doing lots of renovations this season and need your help!
We are looking for people with building experience, who feel comfortable using power tools and following a plan. We will be supplying the tools and materials, and leading the builds.
Some of the items we will be working on include:
- Rebuild our compost containers
- New garbage and recycling station
- New tables for our wash/pack area
- Arches and trellising
While this opportunity does have regular shifts- we will schedule with volunteers individually.
This can be a family friendly activity- depending on the youths interest and ability.
