Join United Way to support Alkebu-Lan Village during the Meet Up & Eat Up program this summer!
Many kids rely on free or reduced-cost lunches during the school year, but the need for meals doesn't end when school is out - that is where Meet Up & Eat Up comes in! Meet Up & Eat Up meets kids where they already are - libraries, places of worship, schools, community centers, and more - and provides free healthy meals to kids in need. Alkebu-Lan Village is one of these sites.
Volunteers will support Meet Up & Eat Up sites by providing enrichment activities. Volunteers will lead engaging activities including arts & crafts and outdoor games. This is an opportunity for volunteers to see the Meet Up and Eat Up Program in action – spend time in the community, learn about organizations serving kids, and an opportunity to just have fun and play!
