Every year we have hundreds of student applicants who are not placed at their first choice Exam High School or Application School. With your help, we are committed to providing personalized follow-up calls to each family to ensure they receive support and guidance in learning about additional excellent school options that could be a great fit.
As part of this Opportunity, you will receive a brief training at the beginning of your volunteer shift to help set you up for success! In our experience, these calls mean everything to families. They are so grateful to speak with someone about their options and know that they are welcome here at DPSCD.
All volunteers will use office phones which will be thoroughly sanitized before and after each shift. Phones are placed more than 6 feet apart from each other. There will be a maximum of 3 Ambassadors per call shift.
THIS CAN BE DONE REMOTELY OR AT THE FISHER BUILDING - YOUR CHOICE! Please register and you will receive follow-up on how to participate on making calls remotely or from your home.
