We could use 2-3 volunteers to support us for our Harvest Festival on Thursday, October 27, 2:30 – 6:30 pm
Volunteers would come at 2:30 to assist with set-up and would be assigned to an activity station for the duration of the event and if possible be on hand to assist with clean-up.
Brilliant Detroit In-Person COVID-19 Volunteer Guidelines
All in-person volunteers must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Please either provide us with proof of vaccination before coming to volunteer or when you arrive at the event. We recommend that you wear a mask when volunteering, especially when indoors, as some community members are not yet vaccinated. We will have masks available if you would like one.
If you are experiencing a fever, any symptoms of COVID-19, or test positive for COVID-19 anytime between signing up to volunteer and the volunteer event itself, please contact us. We will ask you to fill out a short form confirming that you have not experienced any symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19 when you arrive to volunteer.
Please wash your hands after touching your face and before and after handling food or program materials. Please avoid any unnecessary contact with any individuals (participants, staff, or other volunteers). Some volunteer events may include food. At this time our food policy is as follows; shared meals will be limited. Food can be prepared and taken home to eat, but consuming meals together is prohibited.
