General Volunteer Description:
Volunteers in the advocacy division to support and assist with external relations activities for the agency including fostering relationships with elected officials and external stakeholders. Assist with the research and development of the area plan as required by the Aging and Adult Services Agency.
Duties:
- Assist with the agency’s outreach strategy to raise awareness about programs, including event preparation and coordination.
- Research programs and practices related to older adult and caregiver services for planning purposes.
- Produce data, charts, reports, summaries, and presentations related to advocacy and program planning.
- Assist with the tracking and development of the agency’s annual implementation plan.
- Work collaboratively with agency employees and stakeholders on assignments.
