Read United is a United Way initiative to bring awareness and support to literacy programs throughout the region. During March is Reading Month, United Way is partnering with area schools and education-focused organizations to engage volunteers in literacy opportunities throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
Guest readers are needed at Gesu Elementary in Detroit to help promote the love for reading! Two volunteers are needed for the preschool and/or Kindergarten classrooms any time between 9 - 10:30 a.m. on March 3, March 17, March 24 or March 31.
