Meet us on Growing Hope's urban farm (922 W. Michigan Ave) this Thursday, April 6, at 9:30am and/or this Friday, April 7, at 9:30am. We will be loading up wood and cardboard into a truck and trailer to take to Towne Centre, at 401 W. Michigan Ave. Once we arrive to Towne Centre, we will then load all the wood into wheel barrows and dump them in the newly built garden beds. If we finish loading and dumping all the wood, the next task will be filling the garden beds with soil.
We can provide garden gloves, shovels, and wheelbarrows. Close toed, comfortable shoes or boots are necessary. Also, any comfortable clothing that you can move in and get some dirt on are important too. We will have access to water and bathrooms. Please come even if you cannot attend the full 3 hours!
