Join us and University of Michigan Social Work Professor Larry Gant and his students by taking a walk throughout downtown Detroit to learn more about the history of graffiti as and art, and the history of graffiti in Detroit. Dress warmly and bring a few dollars for hot chocolate or a pastry treat for when we stop at La Gloria Café. This is a free event and a priceless opportunity to interact with a U of M professor who is an expertise in social justice and art.
We will be meeting at the Ann Arbor Y at 9:00 a.m. and leaving promptly at 9:10 a.m. and returning back to the Y by 12:00 p.m. Please dress warmly and bring money for the café if interested.
