Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers strives to help seniors and disabled adults preserve their independence by providing volunteer services to help them fill the gaps they need to remain living in their own homes. One of the services we offer is minor home repairs such as fixing a leaky faucet, patching up a whole in the wall, fixing a toilet, or changing a light fixture just to name a few.
Opportunities are very flexible, volunteers indicate what cities they want to help in, how often they want to help, their skillsets, and the best days/times they are available to volunteer and IVC only calls to ask about requests that match the volunteer's preferences. If the volunteer doesn't have the skillset for the task once they assess they job, they are not obligated to stay and help.
Whether you can help once a week, once a month, or once a year, any time you can dedicate is greatly appreciated!
