Snow Ball: Volunteer Opportunities

Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center | Sat. 2/10 | 2-5pm, 4-7pm, or 6-9:30pm
Be part of a fun and magical event for children of all ages! At the Snow Ball, families will enjoy an evening filled with dancing, activities (balloon drop, photo booth, crafts), dinner and snacks (pizza and an ice cream bar), as well as heart-felt moments and memories that will last for a lifetime. Sign up today for a volunteer shift (set-up: 12-3pm or 3-6pm; event: 6-9:30pm), and make the magic happen! A pizza meal will be provided for all volunteers.

SET-UP VOLUNTEERS: 2pm to 5pm, or 4pm to 7pm (6 positions for each shift, 12 total)
• You’re someone who loves to make rooms look fabulous! From glamorous (e.g. streamers, balloons) to essential (e.g. tables, chairs, craft set-up), you’ll work with a team of volunteers and staff to prepare for a night fill with magic.
• Two shifts available. Pizza for 1st shift volunteers at noon and at 2nd/3rd shift at 5:45pm

EVENT VOLUNTEERS: 6pm – 9:30pm (10 positions available)
• You’re a people person (ages 16 and over) who loves bringing joy to children and families.
• You’ll be assigned one of the following stations: check-in, arts & crafts, photo booth, food & beverage, or floating hospitality. All are requested to help with clean-up from 8:30 to 9:30 (or sooner with everyone pitching in!)
• One shift available: 6pm – 9:30pm (event runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm)
• Come early for pizza for volunteers at 5:45pm
