Join Elms Family and Community Services as we join our community partners for senior yard services!
Services include: raking leaves, trim trees, clean up garden beds, and wash windows for seniors in our community. All tasks will be outdoors and have limited interaction with the seniors to ensure health and safety. Volunteers will meet at Elms Family and Community Services, 41800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 for check in, to receive additional supplies, and to receive your assignments.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring some supplies (rakes, shovels, tree trimmers, gloves, etc.) which they can use and take back home at the end of the day. Additional supplies will be provided if volunteers do not have the previously mentioned supplies at home. Volunteers will be split into groups of 3-5 and be provided a list of addresses where the work is to be completed. Each group will complete the work requested and will make their way back to the designated location to drop off supplies and check out.
When: 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, September 4th
Where: Work will be done at seniors homes in the Macomb County area

Volunteers Needed: 15-25 Volunteers needed for this project on each of the listed dates
Transportation: Volunteers must have transportation to the various homes in the community. Carpooling volunteers from each group would be encouraged.
Safety Precautions: Volunteers will be split into smaller groups of 3-5 people and will be performing outdoor tasks only.
